Is ArtCraft the same as PhotoCraft?
PhotoCraft is an open-source image editor in the ArtCraft app family. An app family, an image editor and a generation service have different jobs. The official product page describes the upstream editor. The Storytold repository and official product page establish the software relationship; this guide does not authenticate individual or company identities beyond those published sources.

What does PhotoCraft handle?
The upstream editor documents layers, adjustments, type, PSD files and export tools. Feature coverage does not establish perfect behavior for every document. Fonts, effects and round trips need to be checked for your file.

The four AI tools here submit requests to KIE through this site’s backend. They do not control PhotoCraft through MCP, and their credits are not ArtCraft credits. To use a generated still in PhotoCraft, save the image and open it in the editor yourself. Continue downloaded video clips in a video editor.

Is ArtCraft PhotoCraft free and safe to use?
Local PhotoCraft editing is separate from paid generation. This site's AI credits pay for its KIE tasks; official ArtCraft services set their own fees and terms. Neither account nor balance transfers between them.
Open source makes code available for inspection; it is not a security certification. Use the official release and checksum, keep an original copy, and grant MCP access only to the folders needed. Read our file and analytics policy before using this site's browser or cloud tools. We have not performed a security audit of the upstream app.
